Policy-Technology

Summary

We are working at the interface of Technology and Policy. This includes: (1) technical tools to audit data collection practices of platforms and applications in various ecosystems (web, mobile, smartTV, VR/AR, IoT), (2) NLP-based analysis of privacy policies and their consistency with the corresponding practices (3) auditing of algorithms (4) auditing the compliance of systems with privacy laws.

Work within our group includes the following. For additional work with ProperData see the publications related to “Policy-Techology“.
